OLEVI Programmes (Coaching - POC and APOC, Leadership -OLE, Teaching and Learning - OTAP, CTP and OTP)

Over the last 10 years we have worked with OLEVI to deliver a variety of programmes that support coaching, leadership and teaching and learning within schools across West Midland schools.

Coaching

 

Power of Coaching (POC)

What is the rationale?

You will gain an understanding of the power of coaching and the impact that great coaching has on learning - being able to confidently apply several strategies to deepen the thinking of pupils; inspire colleagues to develop and grow; and become a more reflective and energised professional. As a credible coach, you will be able to coach informally, formally and in a structured way using the OLEVI Analytical Coaching programme.

How does it work?

This programme consists of 3 sessions with a series of post-session challenges. These sessions are normally 3 hours in length.

What is the impact?

Full attendance of this programme will enable you to:

  • Understand and utilise fundamental coaching theory and skills with pupils and professionals to improve learning, thinking and well-being.
  • Coach using OLEVI’s informal, formal, and structured models with individuals.
  • Role-model courage, humility and discipline when engaged in coaching conversations.

Advanced Power of Coaching (APOC)

What is the rationale?

Advanced coaches confidently utilise advanced techniques to increase their effectiveness and expertise. Through informal coaching conversations, formal coaching sessions and structured coaching programmes they ensure clarity, inspire confidence, and create momentum for colleagues, pupils, and teams to achieve both professional and organisational goals. They can lead effective coaching across groups and teams.

How does it work?

This programme consists of 3 focused sessions with a series of post session challenges, completed over a 4-week period. The sessions are run over a 1⁄2 day + 1 day + 1 day format. The programme has been designed for delivery online.

What is the impact?

In addition to the Power of Coaching accreditation, full attendance of this programme will accredit you to:

  • Coach and mentor colleagues and pupils, using advanced techniques to improve their learning, leadership, and wellbeing.
  • Design your own coaching models to fit your context.
  • Lead a team of coaches in developing a coaching ethos.

Outstanding Leadership in Education (OLE)

By engaging with evidencedinformed leadership pedagogy, you will discover how to lead and manage individuals, teams, and projects more effectively for greater impact.

Teaching and Learning

Outstanding Teacher Assistant Programme (OTAP)

Outstanding teaching assistants are deeply reflective, confident, and creative through gaining a deeper understanding of highquality classroom pedagogy. They will develop the attributes to make a significant impact on the outcomes of, and relationships with, both pupils and colleagues.

Creative Teaching Programme (CTP)

You will become a more reflective and creative professional, gaining a deeper understanding of high impact pedagogy that ensures significant improvement in the experience and the outcomes of pupils.

Oustanding Teacher Programme (OTP)

You will gain a deeper understanding of the latest innovative pedagogy and develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to make a significant impact on your pupils and inspire others to improve their practice and approach within a coaching culture.
